Application

This special type of Electromagnetic Lifter is used for especially for SCRAP LIFTING. This device is requires a continuous D.C. power supply for energized (ON). The effectiveness of lifting capacity is varying due to its contact area of a scrap; you can observe the following photographs for understand this term.

Construction of Electromagnetic Lifter

  1. Overall body : Fabricated, using High Permeability Steel
  2. Conductor : Enameled Copper wire.
  3. Class of Insulation : H class
  4. Winding Base : FRP Former
  5. Input : Powers supply required :- 415V 3PH, 50, HZ AC supply.
  6. Output : Operating voltage :- 220V D. C. supply.
  7. Operating Through : Operating Pendent.

Performance of Lifter : The effectiveness of lifting capacity is varying due to its contact with lifting object Example: If lifter having 100% contact area with lifting object and it capable to lift 10 Tons solid load lifting capacity it can be perform 5 to 10% ( 500 to 1000kg approximate ) effective for scrap lifting because uneven contact area of scrap with magnetic lifter.

Operation Sequence (Follow-up the steps)

  1. Install a Control Panel on a crane or nearby location.
  2. Provide external A.C. Supply to the control panel.
  3. Connect Control panel with a Lifter & Operating Pendent.
  4. Hang this whole / total assembly with a crane hook.
  5. Align the lifter on a lifting object properly.
  6. Push Magnet “ON” button on operating pendent for energizing of lifter.
  7. Lift the scrap of a recommended height.
  8. Carry it to a desired place with minimum height.
  9. After reaching to a desire place, push Magnet “OFF” button on operating pendent for de-energizing of lifter.
